人类已全面进入到信息时代，物联网、传感设备、社交网络等每天都会产生各种格式的海量数据，系统的组成也越来越复杂，随之产生的系统可靠性问题也日益突出。系统越复杂，其承载的信息量越大，重要性越高、功能越强、其适用范围也就越广，这将对系统的可靠性提出重大挑战。鉴于此，有效提高传感器、云平台、大数据系统和应用的可靠性变得愈发重要。
